Select the Notebook Software Icon in the Windows Notification Area and Right Click. 

Select Control Panel. 

Select About Software and Product Support. 

Select Tools. 

Select Check for Updates.  Any software that needs to be updated will pull up and give you the option to update.

Go to www.smarttech.com. 

Select Support and then Product Registration. 

Select Continue. 

Enter the serial numbers of the SMART Board Interactive Whiteboards you are registering. 

This will direct you to a contact form.

Fill out and Submit the form.  Within a few minutes, SMART will email the completed registration form along with your License Key for Notebook Software.

Pen Flicks and Panning are generally the cause of not being able to select an object in Notebook Software on a Windows 7 Machine.  To disable flicks and Panning:

Open the Windows Start Menu

Go to Control Panel

Go to Hardware and Sound

Go to Pen and Touch

Go to turn pen flicks on/off

Apply

Go to touch, uncheck multitouch gestures and inking

Apply

Go to the panning tab, uncheck single finger panning

Apply

Select Tablet PC Settings

Select the Other Tab

Click Go to Input Panel Settings

In The opening tab, the only option that should be selected is Tap the Input Panel Icon or the tab

Plug in the SMART Response Receiver to your Computer.

 Go to www.smarttech.com.

 Select Support and then Software Downloads.

 Select the correct version of SMART Response for your OS.

 Select Download. 

Select the Windows Start Menu.

Select All Programs.

Select SMART Technologies.

Select SMART Response.

Select Setup Tool.

You can then toggle between the different types of SMART Response Clickers.

Open Notebook Software.

Select the Gallery Tab.

Select the Wrench Icon to the Far Right Side of the Gallery Search Engine.

Select Check for Updates.

Select the Gallery Component you would like to update.

Jagged Lines Generally Suggest a grounding issues with the Wall Mounted SMART Board.  First Verify all Software and Drivers are up to date.  Finally, Pull off the pen tray to see if there are screws securing the bottom of the board to the wall.  If so, please insulate the screws with a plastic sleeve and cover the head of the screw to eliminate any metal to metal contact.

Press the two Buttons on the pen tray to activate the Orientation Screen.

Touch the Center of Each Crosshair and release.

 Once you have selected each Crosshair, the Board will be Oriented.

Press and hold all three buttons on the front of the AirLiner for 60 Seconds and then release.

Re-establish the Bluetooth Connection to the PC. 

The AirLiner has now been reset.

The Bluetooth Module and the USB Speakers can be used on the Same SMART Board Interactive whiteboard; however, this will not be a completely wireless system.  In order to use both items, the speakers will require a hardwire to the PC.

Verify that the Document Camera is properly powered and then open Notebook Software.  Select the Document Camera Icon from the Notebook Software Toolbar to then View the image.

Go to http://www.smarttech.com 

Select Support and then Product Registration.

Select Check your Warranty.

Enter the Serial Numbers of the SMART Products you would like warranty status.

Click Check for Warranty.
